Our Steam Heritage

Spoornet no longer operates any steam trains, but locally there is still a lot on offer for the steam train enthusiast.

The Transnet Heritage Foundation is the custodian of our steam heritage, which operates the renowned Union Limited and Choo-Tjoe steam trains.
